Shalom,
The short meaning is Peace. However, if you really study this word, you will see that is is “complete”. Jesus did a complete work for us at the cross and when He said “it is finished”, He really meant it. We can stand today totally forgiven, healed, redeemed, prosperous, whole, free, and the list goes on. Shalom
